Clare Meehan


Originally from Colorado, Clare has been performing all her life. As a member of the Colorado Springs Children's Chorale, she toured the Pacific Northwest and Canada and sang at the Boetcher Center in Denver with Amy Grant. She went on to become a member of the Colorado Performing Arts Company, singing solo shows at the Colorado Opry House, the Flying W Guest Ranch, the Broadmoor Hotel, and opening for country music star Tracy Lawrence. She attended the University of Northern Colorado on a Musical Theater Scholarship before moving to California. Favorite theatre roles include: the Woman in Bash, Beth in A Lie of the Mind, Helen in Baby with the Bathwater, Emma in Curse of the Starving Class, the Witch in Into the Woods, and Imogen in Shakespeare's Cymbeline. Film credits include the short films Rattled and Voices, as well as Holding Out and The Stuntman, both of which appeared at the Sacramento Film Festival. She is currently writing a full-length play based on the life of Joan Burroughs. With LBSC, Clare played the Widow and the Tailor in The Taming of the Shrew, and Charmian in Antony and Cleopatra. She was also a featured singer and the bellydancer in Antony and Cleopatra. Clare is a member of the 3KO Broadway Theatre Company in Los Angeles.
