
Born and raised in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, Eric moved to Los Angeles after graduating with honors from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) with a BA in Fine Arts. For his performances at IUP as Hamlet in Fortinbras and Father Welsh in The Lonesome West, he received two consecutive acting nominations for the Kennedy Center/ACTF Irene Ryan Award and was presented with the Certificate of Merit in Acting for his work. Additional roles at IUP include Scrooge in A Christmas Carol, Men in the controversial two-character drama The Blue Room, Malpherion in the Keystone Repertory premiere of Alphabet Soup, and Gollum in the independent film Dwelling Among Junkmen. He's also worked previously as John Costigan at Roanoke Island Festival Park on the Outer Banks of North Carolina. Eric joined LBSC in the summer of 2005 during Henry V. Additional roles at LBSC include Cleante in The Miser, Lead Man in The War of the Worlds, and most recently, Buckingham, in Richard III. Aside from performance, he has directed several productions including Alice in Wonderland and The Dumb Waiter. Eric is also a freelance writer with several of his works printed in Pennsylvania publications.
