
Making his acting debut with LBSC's "The Far-Gone-doliers" as Marco, Joe is having the time of his life learning from director Denis McCourt and his fellow cast members. Joe was born and raised in Southern California. He studied music and vocal techniques under the direction of Dr. Sheridan Ball. He is a well-known chorister throughout L.A. and Orange counties, performing with the Cypress Masterworks Choral and Meritage Choir. Performances include: John Rutter's "Gloria," Bach's "Mass In B Minor," and Ralph Vaughan Williams' "Dona Nobis Pacem", for which they received a standing ovation at Carnigie Hall. Joe's solo performances include Mozart's "Requiem" and Joseph Haydn's "The Creation." His many accomplishments as a singer and performer include: being the President and board member of the Long Beach Chamber Choral, and a solo spot in the "Pops Concert" under the direction of Mr. Mark Barville at the John Anson Ford Theater in Los Angeles. Critic Rex Ford of the Long Beach Press Telegram wrote, "Joe Burgos brought sparkle and life to the stage." Joe has also performed with the Long Beach Opera Company in productions of Mascagni's Cavalleria Rusticana and Massenet's La Navarrise.
