Mike Austin

Mike made his stage debut in LBSC's 2007 production of The Wakefield Second Shepherds Play. He had such a good time doing it, he agreed to play two parts in A Midsummer Night's Dream, Egeus and Snout. He has gone on to play Tiresias in The Bacchae, and a variety of roles in Sir Gawain and the Green Knight, including a troll. Most recently, he was featured as John, Irene Adler's butler and groom, in Sherlock Holmes and A Scandal in Bohemia, for which he also served as choreographer, teaching a number of actors how to tango and waltz. This summer, Mike played a number of roles in Julius Caesar, including Cicero and Strato. Recently, Mike played Leonato in Much Ado About Nothing, once again choreographing, and this time composing and performing some of the shows music.
