Judy Markwell

Judy works well in the dark, backstage, behind the scenes. As a member of the technical theatre crew at CSU Dominguez Hills, she worked on Auntie Mame, The Misanthrope, and Hair. She danced in and worked behind the scenes on How to Succeed in Business at the Redondo Beach Performing Arts Center. Other credits include: Art Gallery Director and Instructor at El Camino College, Guest Exhibit Director for Hermosa Beach Community Art Center and the Jocelyn Center for the Arts, and Design Consultant for the City of Torrance James Armstrong Theater. Judy received a BA in Art History and Business from California State University, Dominguez Hills. She has been resident stage manager at the Goad Theatre since 2009, but has also painted sets, gathered and created props, and stage-managed LBSC뭩 2011 Annual Summer Shakespeare Festival. Judy likes variety, and enjoys being in the company of artists with active, fertile imaginations.
