Ken Borgers

They may not know his name, but Ken Borgers' voice will be familiar to customers of He is a daily contributor to the premier provider of web-based audio programming, the voice of the audio editions of the Wall Street Journal, Forbes magazine, and many other subscription offerings since Audible's inception in 1999.

He's been a presence on LA-area radio stations (KRNO, KFI, KNAC, KCLU, etc.) for considerably longer--since 1968 at KUSC, while earning his undergraduate degree at the University of Southern California. Borgers was the architect of the jazz format on KLON (now KKJZ) at CSULB and served as its program director for 23 years. He is currently the local host of All Things Considered on KCRW.
