Lewis Carroll
Birthday Series

Lewis Carroll, the man who made nonsense a fine art, and gave us unforgettable characters -- the Mad Hatter, the Cheshire Cat, the Caterpillar, and Alice -- was born on January 27th, 1832. His work has influenced a diverse group of artists, including John Lennon, and inspired songs, such as "White Rabbit," by the Jefferson Airplane, and films, such as Tim Burton's recent Alice in Wonderland. In celebration of the anniversary of his birth, LBSC will present an Alice in Wonderland Revue, a staged reading with music and dancing, featuring some of the best-loved passages from Carroll's most famous novel.
