The Gift of the Magi by O. Henry

A humorous and charming, turn-of-the-20th-century American love story for the holidays, fully-staged, and narrated by the author, O. Henry, who interacts with his characters as a butcher, an old sailor, and a journalist, among other disguises, and talks to the audience about his observations and conclusions. There is holiday music, performed by the cast, and beautiful period costumes and sets, designed by Dana and Tim Leach. This fresh adaptation of the time-honored story of giving and personal sacrifice was written and directed by Helen Borgers.
