Valda Judd

Despite growing up about an hour from the Globe Theatre in London, it took British-born Valda Judd more than 20 years of living in America and travels in over 60 countries before discovering her passion for Shakespeare. In 2009, she decided to read all of Shakespeare's plays, and since then all her reading has been Shakespeare-related. She's attended performances in Stratford-upon-Avon, the Globe, the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, and Blackfriar's Theatre in Staunton, VA.

She greatly enjoys volunteering with the LBSC and learning all she can about the Bard and his works. Holding an M.S. in Education (TESOL), Valda has worked as a journalist and ESL instructor and is currently administrative director for an online university.
