War of the Worlds

War of the Worlds

Synopsis: When strange cylinders from space land in Grover's Mill, Pierson is there to catch the scoop. He describes to the audience as the cylinders open and the martian creatures, like walking squids, emerge and attack. From there, the play follows Pierson as he attempts to survive the attack and runs into individuals of varying degrees of sanity. He finally makes it to New York, in an attempt to see his wife and there learns that the Martians have died due to their compromised immune systems.
